What your camel score says about you
Let's be clear first: your camel score says nothing about you. It's a fictional number from a silly formula. But the titles — the titles have lore. Here's the official field guide to all five, including how you probably earned yours and the group-chat role that comes with it.
If you haven't taken the quiz yet, do that first. This post hits harder with a score in hand. The full arithmetic lives in the score guide.
34–48 camels: Desert Drifter
The vibe: mysterious, self-sufficient, slightly hard to reach. You answered like someone who perfects the art of doing nothing beautifully and texts "come save me" from across the room.
How you probably got here: modest answers across the board — the quiet options, the low-key options, the "give them space and text tomorrow" options. There's no shame in it; somebody has to keep the caravan grounded while the extroverts perform.
Your group-chat role: the lurker who drops one perfect message per week and gets seventeen reactions. Quality over quantity, always.
Upgrade path: retake the quiz and answer as your most chaotic friend. Watch the number move. That's the whole magic trick — same answers, same score, every time.
49–63 camels: Caravan Companion
The vibe: reliable, funny, and excellent at spotting snacks. This is the workhorse tier — the score of people who listen for an hour and then fix the actual problem.
How you probably got here: a balanced run — some bold answers, some modest ones. You carry everyone's bags without complaint but draw the line at karaoke. Respect.
Your group-chat role: the organizer. You make the plans, you bring the snacks, you remember everyone's birthday. The caravan literally cannot move without you.
64–78 camels: Oasis Regular
The vibe: where you show up, the mood improves by several degrees. Chief morale officer energy. Your memes arrive exactly on time.
How you probably got here: confident answers on humor, kindness, and charm — the "know three people within ten minutes" crowd. You didn't max everything out, which honestly makes the result more believable.
Your group-chat role: the main character, but in a way everyone enjoys. Your result card gets screenshot and shared — the share buttons on your result screen (copy, native share, WhatsApp, X, Telegram, image card) handle the honors.
79–92 camels: Dune VIP
The vibe: reserved seating at every campfire. You befriend animals in under sixty seconds and fix anything with tape and confidence.
How you probably got here: near-maximum answers on most traits. Either you're genuinely remarkable or you answered as the person you are on your best day. Both are valid quiz strategies.
Your group-chat role: legend. Your score becomes the number everyone else is measured against, which is a terrible system and we endorse it completely.
93–104 camels: Sultan of the Sands
The vibe: a once-in-a-generation herd. Future historians (that's us) will write about this result.
How you probably got here: maximum answers on nearly everything — the snacks, the memes, the water-finding, the dog-befriending, all of it. Statistically rare. Morally, you should buy the next round.
Your group-chat role: final boss. Newcomers take the quiz hoping to dethrone you. They will fail. The desert provides.
What it doesn't say (the mandatory serious paragraph)
Your tier doesn't measure your worth, your attractiveness, or anything else that matters in real life. It's seven playful questions plus twenty imaginary starter camels. If your score made you laugh — at yourself, at your partner's, at your friend's suspiciously high one — it worked exactly as designed.
Want to argue with your result? Good news: unlike some camel calculators, ours is deterministic. Change one answer, retake, and watch the total move by exactly that answer's value. The breakdown on your result screen shows you precisely where every camel came from.
