How to compare camel scores with your partner (without starting a fight)
Comparing camel scores is the entire point of the quiz. Here's how the compare flow works, why it's fair, and how to keep the showdown friendly.
The compare flow, step by step
- Take the quiz first. Answer as yourself in Myself mode — or skip straight to Partner mode and answer on their behalf. Either order works.
- Tap “Compare with someone.” It's the orange button under your result, next to Retake.
- Run the second round. Seven questions again, about sixty seconds. Answer as the other person, as honestly as the relationship allows.
- See both herds side by side. The compare screen shows both scores, both titles, the winning margin, and a verdict. Screenshot it. You know what to do with it.
Why it's fair
Three properties make the comparison legitimate (in the strictest fictional sense):
- One formula. Partner mode doesn't secretly change the math — it only changes "you" to "they." The score guide publishes the whole thing.
- Deterministic. Same answers, same score, every time. If you suspect foul play, make them retake it in front of you. The number won't move unless the answers do.
- Transparent. Both result screens show the full per-answer breakdown, so disputes can be settled answer by answer, like adults, loudly.
House rules for a friendly showdown
Rule 1: Answer for them, not against them. Deliberately tanking someone's answers is detectable (the breakdown shows everything) and punishable by immediate rematch.
Rule 2: The loser buys snacks. This is non-negotiable and universally accepted.
Rule 3: Ties mean rematch. Identical herds are rare and sacred. Run it back with zero changed answers to confirm the universe is balanced, then change exactly one answer each and settle it.
Rule 4: No appealing to the camel. The camel is fictional and cannot be bribed.
Beyond couples
Friend mode works the same way — run your round, run theirs, compare. For groups, go tournament style: everyone takes the quiz, scores go in the chat, highest herd gets bragging rights until someone retakes it. (Retakes are unlimited. Bragging rights are not.)
One caution from the what-is page: anything you share is, by definition, shared. The quiz itself stores nothing — but the screenshot you post lives forever. Share like the group chat is watching. It is.
